A Dallas police officer has been charged in a prostitution case after telling Arlington police he agreed to pay a woman for a sexual encounter but ran from her apartment naked after two men tried to rob him. Dallas police Sr. Skinner arrived at the woman's apartment on the block of Bardin Greene Drive and followed her into the bedroom where she instructed him to get undressed and sit on the bed.
A short time later, two men and a woman entered the room, pulled out a gun and tried to rob him, police said in the affidavit. He told police he then ran from the apartment naked, leaving behind all of his personal property including his clothing and mobile phone. Investigating officers arrived and Skinner confirmed for Arlington police that two women outside the apartment were the ones he saw inside.
After obtaining a search warrant, Arlington police entered the apartment and found property and clothing belonging to Skinner, as well as an opened condom on the bed. Police said during an interview with the woman that she admitted to working as a prostitute and that she contracted with Skinner that evening.
Arlington police have not released any other information about what charges, if any, the women may face. Additionally, police have not revealed any information about the men who attempted to rob Skinner. The Dallas Police Department said Wednesday morning that Skinner has been with the department since February and is currently ased to the Support Services Division.
He has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of a criminal and administrative investigation into the Class B misdemeanor prostitution charge. Local The latest news from around North Texas.
